Join us as we explore concepts and illustrators presented in books.  What better way than reading out loud and doing art at the end of a very busy day! This class will introduce students to artist/children book illustrators such as Romare Bearden, Leo Lionni, Eric Carle, Ezra Jack Keats, Faith Ringgold and many others. A variety of materials such as collage, clay, construction and painting will be used to further explore and investigate the concepts presented or artist techniques.

Learn to develop and draw fundamental fashion figures and garment details. Learn principals of color. Work with pencil, colored pencils and markers. Design your own full collection of swimwear. This is not a sewing class. Nelly Agron is a designer and dressmaker. She has created costumes for Broadway, as well as at the Julliard School.

9/10s and up : Nelly Agron
Design your very own line of cloth. Work with a designer on all stages of the fashion process: draw your ideas, cut your patterns, choose your fabric, and make a miniature sample of your fashion line. Introduction to draping, working with dress form.
