School for Children 2nd Grade Ghanaian Letter Writing Project

In January, SFC Middle School students (grades 1-4) wrote letters and drew pictures to send to students in a primary (grades 1-4) demonstration school in Navrongo, Ghana. Stacey Cloud, 7/8s Teacher, who taught for two years at the school, and returns every summer to help teach, initiated the letter writing project by asking the Ghanaian students to write letters to our students last summer. This past week, our students were thrilled to receive letters back from Ghana! Each class shared the letters by reading them aloud. Stacey, the other Middle School teachers, and their students are excited to continue this international connection in the fall.
