Project Cicero Book Drive A Success

Posted by Katie Peshut on March 11, 2013

The School for Children once again participated in the annual Project Cicero Book Drive, which is designed to create – or supplement – school and classroom libraries for children in under-resourced New York City public schools. This year's drive was a great success - the Bank Street community collected and donated 57 boxes of books.

A special thank you to the 6/7s (1st graders) for decorating and distributing the collection boxes, as well as the Parents Association volunteers for their hard work sorting books and packing boxes.
