21st Century Educator

In 2012, Bank Street College completed a focused marketing survey of private and public school leaders to better understand their professional development priorities. This was done with the intent to build accessible, relevant programs to serve the needs of 21st century educators.

Based on the results of our survey, Bank Street's Continuing Professional Studies is offering four online certificate programs in the following areas:

New Teacher Certificate (PreK - 3rd Grades)

Creating Meaningful Learning Through Early Childhood Social Studies Curriculum (Spring)
Differentiated Instruction Across the Content Areas (Spring)
Setting Norms & Managing Difficult Behaviors (Fall)
Teaching Big Math Concepts to Small Children

Workshops are offered throughout the year, generally as noted in parenthesis. Upon completion of four workshops in a certificate area, participants will receive a certificate of completion from Bank Street College, Graduate School of Education. Participants do not need to be on a certificate track to participate in the workshop. All workshops are not for credit.
