Learning Difference or Disability: A New Perspective

Today we are viewing learning disabilities on a continuum- high, low and in between. Informed by new information on how the brain learns, we will define what is meant by Learning Disability and learn to distinguish between a learning difference and a disability. Most importantly, participants will learn strategies and techniques, based on practical applications of current research, to help children who struggle with learning challenges.
Case material will be presented along with new information about teaching and learning with the brain in mind.
