Bio

Lesley Koplow, MS, LCSW, author of several books including, Bears, Bears Everywhere: Supporting Children's Emotional Health in the Classroom (Teacher’s College Press, 2008), Unsmiling Faces: How Preschools Can Heal (Teacher’s College Press, 2007), and Creating Schools That Heal (Teacher’s College Press, 2002). She is currently the Director of the Center for Emotionally Responsive Practice at Bank Street College of Education. She is the former Director of the Karen Horney Clinic Therapeutic Nursery in Manhattan.
