Akilah Rosado-McQueen
Joining Bank Street in 2009, Akilah Rosado-McQueen serves as Chief of Staff to the President and Assistant Secretary to the Board of Trustees.
Prior to joining Bank Street, she served as the Senior Liaison for Government/Community Relations to the borough of Brooklyn at the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Since the mid-90’s, Akilah has held various positions in the New York State Assembly working for a number of elected officials on a range of legislative and policy issues.
In 2012, Akilah was asked to join the Association of Governing Boards Professionals Leadership Group (BPLG). In this capacity, she provides input and feedback relative to the planning and execution of their annual conference.
Akilah received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from SUNY at Purchase College and holds a Masters of Science in Urban Policy and Management from the Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy at The New School.
