Event Description
Join author and child development consultant Lisa Poelle for an informative workshop which delves into that dreaded habit: BITING!
This workshop follows the topic of her book The Biting Solution. For parents, teachers and child-care professionals alike dealing with a child who bites other kids—and possibly adults, The Biting Solution is a practical guide which provides realistic advice, including:
- A script to follow immediately when a child bites.
- Seven questions to help you assess why a child bites.
- What adults need to know about child development and temperament to prevent biting.
- A puppet script and song that help kids communicate without biting, hitting or other inappropriate behavior.
PLUS Lisa Poelle will be at Bank Street College teaching a course based on topics covering The Biting Solution as the textbook.
