 hallenging Behaviors and Teaching Social Skills</h4>\n<p>Students on the A
 utism Spectrum and those with behavioral challenges often present with dif
 ficulty regulating their feelings and interacting socially. This workshop 
 describes how to handle meltdowns and design effective behavior plans to p
 revent these moments and reduce frustration and anxiety.&nbsp\; In this pr
 esentation we seek to unpack and understand the reasons for social skill d
 eficits and disruptive behaviors. We will also learn strategies to deal ef
 fectively with meltdowns and be able to put together an effective behavior
  plan to prevent frustrations.</p>\n<p>Together we will work towards under
 standing challenging behaviors in children with Aspergers\, Autism\, NLD\,
  ADHD\, Bipolar disorder\, and multiple learning disabilities. We will als
 o explore the Hierarchy of Behavior/Frustration Management Strategies: Rel
 ationship building and collaborative problem solving\, De-&shy\;‐escalat
 ing meltdowns\, 7 common triggers\, and Prevention plans for each trigger<
