SU-7.1: Teachers, Science Summer Camp. Teachers needed for science focused summer camp at Corlears School. Applicants must have experience working with the age group. Applicants enrolled in a Master’s program preferred, but will consider those enrolled in a B.A. education degree program with experience. Must be comfortable and/or interested in caring for and handling a variety of animals for our curriculum and be willing to get dirty with children exploring such things as soil and compost. Program runs for 6 weeks  6/24-

SU-7.2: PT Assistant Teacher. Manhattan Valley Mosaic Preschool of Art and Design. Assistant teacher needed for an 8-10 week pilot program that will run this summer starting May 20. The assistant teacher will work closely with the lead teacher to deliver and support an arts-integrated curriculum for 2s and 3s. Position is three 3-hur sessions per week plus a weekly meeting. Applicants must have or be working toward an early childhood education degree and have some experience working with 2 and 3 year olds. Pay is hourly and commensurate with training and experience. SU-7.4: Camp Director. Princeton-Blairstown Center. Master’s degree in education, recreation or related field with 3-5 years previous management or professional experience in such areas as teaching, scouts, camping, or recreation. 3-5 years of experience in increasingly responsible supervisory positions required. Experience with programming and administering programs that reflect the camp’s population is desirable. SU-7.5: Male Tutor needed to speak Spanish with a 6 year old boy for 1-2 hours 5 days a week end of June. We are looking for someone who is fun, sporty, and energetic to just have fun with him. SU-7.6: Teachers and Camp Counselors. ConstructionKids in Brooklyn, New York. We are currently seeking staff with a background in education. We will train new staff all of the necessary hand and tool skills; a background in sculpture or carpentry is not essential. SU-7.7: Summer Policy & Communications Intern. New York State Afterschool Network (NYSAN). Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills required. SU-7.8: Summer Intern/Volunteer. IMAGINE THAT! Candidates should have an interest in art education and enjoy children. Must be able to physically set up supplies for workshops outdoor. Computer skills in Microsoft for Mac required. Internship is from June 23-September 1 for a total of 8 hours per week. Must be available most Saturday mornings; additional hours are flexible. SU-5.1: Camp Counselor. JCP Early Childhood Center. Experienced counselors for a downtown Jewish Summer Camp needed for children ages 2.5 to 5 years. Part and full-time counselor positions available for our program which meets 5 days a week for 6 weeks beginning mid-June. Applicants should have a BA; an MA (or coursework in progress) is preferred. SU-5.3: Paid 2013 Summer Internships. Montessori Day School of Brooklyn. We are seeking graduate school interns for our 2013 paid summer internship program. Our 7 week program runs from July 8 through August 23. We are also accepting applications for a full time teaching position for the upcoming school year. SU-5.4: Summer Day Camp English Teacher. Educational Talent Search Program @CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice. B.A. in English or Education and one year related field/work experience in subject area and grade level. Familiarity with NYC public school system and academic requirements. Bilingual English/Spanish is a+. Salary is $25-$35/hr., commensurate with qualifications and experience. Program begins July 8 and ends August 1, 2013. SU-5.5: Teacher Recruitment and Applicants Services Intern. NYC DOE, Office of Teacher Recruitment & Quality. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a BA or MA program; have proven excellent written and verbal communication skills; and proven record of achievement in work and school. SU-3.1: Head Counselors. Epiphany Community Nursery School. Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in early childhood education (or currently enrolled in a Master’s program) required. Experience in an early childhood classroom required. Program runs from June 3-August 16. Hours are 8:30-3:30. You must be available to start on May 31. SU-2.1: Volunteer Summer Camp Counselors. Muscular Dystrophy Association. Counselors must be physically able to lift a young person between the ages of 6 and 17. Each counselor is assigned to serve as a companion for a camper who’s affected by a neuromuscular disease. SU-2.2: Mother’s Helper (Live-in or Live-out) needed for July and August in Water Mill, NY for two boys ages 7 and 4. Hours are flexible as both boys will be in camp from 8 am to 4 pm. Occasional night coverage will be needed if you are not living-in. Lodging will be provided if necessary for the months of July and August. After School Tutor/Homework Helper needed to help first grader with math and writing/storytelling and also help a preschooler with pre-reading and kindergarten preparation.
