Ana Tiburcio, Director

Ana is a Licensed Social Worker and received her MSW from Hunter College in 2004. Prior to joining Liberty LEADS, Ana led a community service class, organized and implemented a summer camp and assisted with a history class for the students at Liberty LEADS. Ana was previously employed as a foster care worker in Brooklyn.

Michael LoGuidice, Senior Social Worker

Michael is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received his M.Ed at Bank Street College of Education.  He has been has been working with children and families since his graduation from Hunter College School for Social Work in 1993. Michael, a 2008 Partnership for After School Education PASEsetter award winner, has focus professionally on the development of a model of working with youth that combines theory and practice from the fields of Outdoor Education (Adventure Based Counseling) and Social Group.

Lijia Collado, Office Manager

Lijia is primarily responsibility for coordinating project logistics, including scheduling and arranging all activities.  Lijia Collado has served as the Office Manager for the Liberty LEADS Program since 1997. Prior to her work with Liberty LEADS, Ms. Collado worked for Bryan, Gonzalez & Vargas.

Alyssa Lyons, High School Advisor

Alyssa received her Master's degree in Politics and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, in 2013. Prior to working with Liberty LEADS, Alyssa worked for over four years as an instructor, tutor, and curriculum developer for a college access program for low-income youth of color at the City University of New York (CUNY).

Gina M. Jones, High School Advisor

Gina received her Bachelors and Masters at The College of New Rochelle (New Rochelle Campus). She graduated in May 2009 with a Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling. She has a New York State permanent certification in School Counseling.

Hallie Wright, Middle School Advisor

Hallie attended Santa Clara University in California and received her Masters in Education from Stanford University. Upon graduation she taught High School Social Studies for six years, where she participated in several enrichment organizations and after school programs.

Shawn Williams, Program Assistant

Shawn is a graduate of Ohio University. He has been working with youth for the past 11 years at the YMCA of Greater Cleveland and The Family Life Theater Company in New York.He is an actor and writer who uses drama to addresses relevant teen issues.
