The 21st Century Long Trip Workshop: Exploring New Environments
VoiceThread 101: Using VoiceThread to Help Students Tell Stories and Assess Their Learning
Jessica Millstone will lead this session that is specifically focused on VoiceThread, an interactive web-based software program that lets users communicate using text, photos, pictures and audio. Jessica has spent the past fifteen years thinking, writing, and teaching about the ways technology and digital media can transform learning at home and at school. Jessica holds an advanced Master’s in Education from Bank Street College of Education, where she currently is an adjunct professor of instructional technology. In addition to her work with pre-service teachers, Jessica is a research consultant for the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop and gives parent and teacher workshops for Common Sense Media.
