  • Ages 4 – 7, Spanish Immersion Camp

The Spanish Immersion group provides the students with the opportunity to learn, to practice and to reinforce the Spanish language through a variety of engaging and interactive activities. The focus is on the development of the students' receptive and expressive language while creating a positive educational experience. By practicing the language in a classroom environment teachers are able to make the campers feel comfortable, and help develop an appreciation and love for the Spanish language.

  • Ages 7 & Up, Theater Master Class

The Bank Street Summer Theater Program operates from a basis of collaboration between campers and instructors in a supportive and nurturing environment.  Instructors guide children through a variety of group exercises and activities to give them a sense of ownership of their performance.  Through physical and vocal expression, a sense of play is cultivated and an ensemble is born. All children are asked to start from where they are and encouraged to go to the edge of their imagination. Everyone is expected to work hard, play hard and have lots of fun.

  • Ages 7 & Up, Sports

While the Sports programs are located in Bank Street’s gym, campers will also be using our many local parks such as Riverside, Morningside and Central Park, all of which are less than four blocks away. Drills, workouts and games will focus on building individual skills, teamwork, knowledge of a variety of sports, and total body coordination.  The program is coed and noncompetitive. Come join, no matter what your skill level and be ready to work and grow this summer!
