Worked in a variety of settings with young children, including Early Head Start, teen parent programs, and child care centers. Organized conferences focused on teacher education for community colleges and child care associations. Vice President of the Coalition of Infant/Toddler Educators. Presentations for Bank Street College Infancy Institute, National Association for the Education of Young Children, Society for Risk Management, resource and referral agencies, child care centers, corporations, and child care organizations.

Fieldwork advisor working with advisees in the Infant and Family and Early Intervention Program, as well as the Early Childhood Special Education Program. Developmental specialist in early intervention working with the families of children, birth to 3 years of age, at home or in group programs. Director of the Infancy Institute.
