Liberty Partnership Program 1989: Recalling, Reflecting, and Celebrating a Bank Street Legacy

Description:
Salon #34 will be hosted by founding Liberty director Dr. David Penberg, GSE ’83, and featuring Liberty graduates Daniel Ferrond, Eric Williams, Tara Crichlow, Yazmin Taylor Heart, Kimani Davis and Madelyn Baez and others, as well as former Bank Street staffer Jeff Hall, co-producer and editor.

How often as teachers do we get to revisit the impact of our work with our students 30 plus years later? Salon #34 represents an occasion for members of its first cohort to come together and collectively remember and rekindle the power of this program in their lives and over their lifetimes.

Please join Dr. David Penberg and assorted Liberty grads for a soul warming and energizing salon that will feature a short documentary film, a panel discussion, and a conversation and exploration between panelists and their voices recorded 34 years ago.
