Alberta Conteh

Alberta Conteh is the director of Bank Street Head Start. Alberta was born and raised in New York City. She has experience as an early childhood teacher as well as a social worker, having worked in early child care administration in various parts of the city including Harlem and most recently in Washington Heights, where she was raised. Alberta obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Education at The City College of New York with a focus on Childhood Education. She also holds a Master of Social Work from Fordham University and a master’s degree in Educational Administration from The City College of New York. Alberta enjoys spending time with her family and listening to books.
