Maria Garcia is a head teacher and disability coordinator at Bank Street Head Start. She has been working in the education field for eight years. She has a master’s in Bilingual Special Education from Bank Street Graduate School. Maria is passionate about working with children that come from diverse cultural backgrounds and is interested in learning about their values. She enjoys supporting families and teaching them about Bank Street’s progressive educational model.
