Bank Street Archives

The Bank Street College Archives contains the institutional records and historical materials of Bank Street College of Education. The collection documents the history and evolution of the College from 1916 to the present. Materials in the collection include:

  • Official divisional administrative records
  • Faculty and staff papers
  • Audio-visual materials
  • Photographs
  • Artifacts

The Archives supplement the general circulating collection of the Bank Street College Library by making rare or original materials available to the Bank Street community, scholars around the world, and the general public.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Bank Street College Archives is to collect, preserve, and make available materials documenting the history and development of the College, including administrative records, faculty and staff papers, alumni papers, and the papers of anyone whose work pertains to the history and development of Bank Street.
